Louise, born in 2016, is our rescue mare. She was abused and neglected by her previous owner. When she came to us, we weren’t sure if she’d survive. She hadn’t seen a farrier for at least 2-3 years, her teeth were severely damaged due to stress and she was malnourished.
Despite the 50/50 chance the vet gave her, she has completely recovered. It’s taken months to fully earn her trust and truly see her personality shine.
She loves foals, and is the perfect herd nanny. She’s a real people pleaser, and wants to do good all the time. She’s still scared of a lot of things, but we will help her trough it all.
Louise is PSSM1 negative. Black tobiano and 1.38m tall.
At the NSvT show in September 2023 she received a 1st premium and STAR!
In 2024, Louise gave us a beautiful Pintaloosa filly with 2 half blue eyes, Dana. Fathered by Dice.
